What the app provides
TuneLoop helps you tune and practise instruments using microphone-based pitch estimation and reference tones. Standard profiles for acoustic guitar, ukulele, banjo, violin, electric bass, cello, mandolin and double bass are free. TuneLoop+ provides Chord Library, Chord Trainer, Haptic Beats and removal of in-app advertising. Alternative tunings marked Coming Soon are not currently included as usable features. The app describes the features available in your version before purchase.
Optional TuneLoop+ purchases
TuneLoop+ is an optional subscription purchased in the Android app through Google Play. No separate TuneLoop registration is required. This website does not sell subscriptions or grant premium access. Standard instrument tunings remain free. Purchases are subject to app and product availability through Google Play.
Google Play subscriptions
Monthly and yearly TuneLoop+ plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Google Play displays the actual localized price, billing frequency, taxes where applicable and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase. Review those details before subscribing. Price changes and required notices follow Google Play procedures and applicable consumer law.
Cancellation, refunds and restoration
Manage or cancel renewal in your Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation normally preserves access until the current paid period expires, subject to verified status, refunds or revocation. Uninstalling TuneLoop, clearing app data or requesting data deletion does not cancel an active subscription.
To restore an existing subscription after reinstalling, use the Google account that made the purchase and select Restore Purchases in TuneLoop. Recovery depends on successful Google Play verification. Contact support if access is not recognized. Access is not guaranteed after expiry, a refund or a revoked purchase.
Refund eligibility follows Google Play refund policies and applicable consumer protection laws. Purchases are not categorically nonrefundable.
Accuracy and safe instrument use
Pitch estimates depend on microphone quality, noise, instrument range and playing technique. TuneLoop is a musical aid, not a guarantee of accuracy, professional calibration or protection from instrument damage. Use appropriate strings and tuning ranges, make small adjustments, and follow instrument/string-manufacturer guidance. Alternative tunings may require different string tension or setup; stop if unsure. Avoid excessive speaker/headphone volume.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
Use the app lawfully. Do not interfere with services, bypass purchase verification, submit another person’s purchase evidence, or exploit vulnerabilities. You may report security issues privately to our contact address. Rights in the app and supplied content remain with their respective owners; applicable open-source and third-party licences continue to apply. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licences or mandatory law.
Availability and limitations
We may maintain or update the app and services. No uninterrupted service or particular support response time is promised. Free standard tuning does not require a paid entitlement; premium access depends on valid verification. Third-party services such as Google Play have their own terms.
Consumer protections and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is supplied without additional guarantees of uninterrupted operation or suitability for every instrument. Nothing here excludes mandatory warranties, statutory remedies, refund rights, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation applies only insofar as lawful; it does not waive consumer protections or rights relating to intentional misconduct or other non-excludable liability. No exclusive court or governing-law choice is imposed by this notice.
